Who is eligible to attend the training sessions?

This program is open to all TRIO program personnel, including those working within Educational Opportunity Centers, McNair Scholars, Student Support Services, Talent Search, Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math-Science, and Veterans Upward Bound programs.

What are your operating hours?

We are open from 8 AM to 6 PM EST, Monday to Saturday. We’re closed on Sunday. Holiday hours may vary, so please call or check our website for specific information on those dates.

Are there any additional resources or support available post-training?

Yes! Participants gain access to the CBI TRIO Training Hub Repository, which houses all training materials. Additionally, we offer monthly Coffee & Chat events for ongoing support, and there are one-hour or two-hour consultation sessions available, depending on your selected training path.

How are participants assessed throughout the program?

Participants complete pre- and post-training assessments to measure learning gains. In addition, participants are surveyed to measure if the training sessions have been beneficial to them.

Is there a cost to participate?

The CBI TRIO Training Program covers all training costs for participants. We also provide certain non-grant-funded supplemental workshops in collaboration with partner organizations at no additional cost.

How long are the training sessions?

Depending on the format, training sessions range from brief, targeted workshops to two-day intensive training events. Our on-site and hybrid sessions are typically two and a half days, while online synchronous sessions last for approximately two days. Asynchronous sessions are modular and vary based on participant pace and chosen modules.

Will I need specific technology or software for virtual training?

Yes, participants will need a computer with a webcam, stable internet, and access to software such as Zoom and Adobe Acrobat. We provide all necessary technology details in advance to ensure a smooth training experience.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my registration?
